Kid's brain cells reproduce
Do children's brain cells divide? Mitch, Toronto,

Yes, they do. But by the time a child is three the child has almost all of
the cerebral cortex neurons, and they will last a lifetime. The hippocampus
(learning and processing new memories), however, makes new neurons at a steady,
vigorous pace through childhood and an adult's life.
