Not all birds migrate south for the winter.  Winter is a hard season for birds, and many risk freezing to death at night. It doesn't take much effort or money to provide shelter for them, and it can make a huge difference to the little feathered guys!

October:  Do fish get carried over  Yosemite waterfalls? Or do they know to stay away from the edge?  Do fish go over Niagara Falls?  Do they live?

September:  Does lightning strike indoor swimming pools?  Has anyone ever been hurt or killed? 

July:  Recently we were sitting outside and heard a bizarre noise coming from something flying over our heads. We realized it was a couple of swans, and we are now trying to figure out what the noise was.  Some of us suggested it was a sort of singing or signaling, others that it was their wings making the noise. Can you help us out? We have a dinner at stake!!

June:  Why do people only snore when they are asleep?

May:  Does the color of a candle determine whether it will burn faster?  Is there some ingredient that makes it burn faster?

April: On escalators, why does the hand rail move faster than the stairs, it defies logic?

February:  Compared with animals, how good a sense of smell do people have? Is there any difference between men and women?

January:  Can a cow jump??? My friend claimed a cow jumped a couple of feet in the air. I think not!!

December:  What age has the best memory?

November:  Why does the tail of a lizard continue to wriggle for a few moments after it has been snapped from its body? Why doesn't the wriggling stop immediately?

October:  What is a dream? I have always wondered but I have no clue?  Why do dreams sometimes seem real? For example, if I fall in a dream, it can wake me.

September:  Is the image we see of ourselves in the mirror really what we look like?

August: My young son would like to know if houseflies can fly in the rain?  When a housefly lands, why does it always rubs its front two legs together?
