 Q: Why do 5-flavored LifeSavers only show four
colors on the package?
A: Open a package and you'll find orange, pineapple, cherry,
lemon, and lime candies. The package depicts these flavors with the colors:
orange, (lemon) yellow, red, and green. Pineapple gets cheated. Poor color
reproduction? No, doubling up. "The yellow on the Life Savers Five Flavor roll is representative of both the lemon and pineapple
flavors in the roll," says Elisabeth Wenner, spokeswoman for LifeSavers.
